Note Fotobiografiche
Eugenio Fieni nasce a Correggio (Reggio Emilia) il 9 luglio 1959 e vive attualmente a Reggio Emilia.
Dal 1993 è socio FIAF, del Circolo Fotografico reggiano “Il Soffietto” BFI, e già da allora partecipa a concorsi nazionali FIAF ed internazionali in ambito FIAP, ottenendo buoni risultati.
E’ premiato come miglior autore nella 40a mostra nazionale “Città di Bergamo”, ottiene il 1° premio ex aequo nel 7° concorso internazionale “La Quercia D’Oro” a Campogalliano e nel 4° "Gran Tour delle Colline".
Sue immagini sono conservate nel Museo della Fotografia Amatoriale Italiana, nel Museo Fotografico “Frammenti” a Pennapiedimonte.
Partecipa alle monografie “E’ l’Italia”, “Fotografia e realtà”, “L’Emilia Romagna fotografa“,
“L’Emilia Romagna si fotografa 2”, ”Feste e processioni del Sud”, “Pubbli…città” edite dalla FIAF.
La FIAF nel 1998 lo insignisce del titolo onorifico di Artista della Fotografia Italiana e viene nominato presidente del Circolo "Il Soffietto” BFI, carica che ricopre tuttora.
Nel 2001 vince la medaglia d’oro al The Best Austrian Super Circuit per la sezione bianco e nero, e vince con la nazionale ITALIANA di fotografia per il bianco e nero, la coppa del Mondo a squadre.
Nel 2003 vince il 1° Memorial Vittorino Rosati come miglior autore dell’Emilia Romagna, e viene eletto delegato provinciale FIAF per Reggio Emilia.
Due sue mostre “Attraverso la Bretagna“ e “Per le vie di Parigi” sono inserite nel circuito CIRMOF.
Nel 2004 la Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique lo insignisce del titolo onorifico AFIAP (Artista della Fotografia Internazionale).
Ha al suo attivo mostre personali e collettive in molte città Italiane ed estere.
Nel maggio 2008, in occasione del 60° congresso FIAF, è stata conferita a Eugenio Fieni l'onorificenza EFIAP (Excellence de la Federation Internationale de l'Art Photographique) "in virtù delle sue notevoli qualità artistiche e per l'importante apporto fornito alla causa dell'Arte Fotografica".

Photobiographical Notes
Eugenio Fieni was born in Correggio (Reggio Emilia) the 9 of July 1959 and he currently lives in Reggio Emilia.
From 1993 he is a FIAF associate, of the reggiano Photographic Circle “Il Soffietto” BFI, and from then he already partecipates to FIAF national and FIAP international competitions, obtaining good payoffs.
He is rewarded as best author in the 40th national exposure “City of Bergamo”, gains the 1st price ex aequo in the 7th international competition “The Golden Oak ” in Campogalliano and in the 4th "Gran Tour of the Hills".
Some of his pictures are conserved in the museum of the Italian Amateur Photography, in the photographic museum “Fragments” in Pennapiedimonte.
He participates to the monographys “Is Italy”, “Photography and Truth”, “Emilia Romagna photographs“,
“Emilia Romagna photographs itself 2”, ”Festivities and processioni of the Sout”, “Pubbli…city” published by FIAF.
FIAF in 1998 rewarded him with the honourable title of Artist of the Italian Photography and he became president of the Circle “Il Soffietto” BFI, office that he still holds.
In 2001 he wins the gold medal at The Best Austrian Super Circuit for the black and white section, and wins the World Cup for Teams, with the ITALIAN national team of photography for black and white.
In 2003 he wins the 1st Memorial Vittorino Rosati as best author of Emilia Romagna, and he became elected as FIAF provincial delegate for Reggio Emilia.
Two of his exposures “Throught the Bretagna" and “Through the Ways of Paris” are inserted in the CIRMOF circuit.
In 2004 the Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique rewarded him with the honourable title of AFIAP (Artist of the International Photography). He boasts personal and collective exposures in many Italian and foreign cities.
In May 2008, during the 60° Fiaf Congress, Eugenio Fieni was rewarded with the honourable title of EFIAP (Excellence de la Federation Internationale de l'Art Photographique) "in virtue of his considerable artistic quality and for the contribution he gave to the cause of Photo Art".
